Kullu: a closer look
Kullu’s valley landscape contains town, village and temple traditions, framed by the surrounding mountains. Regional craft and food can add depth beyond the familiar resort route. A visit should allow time for local experiences rather than only driving through.
Local food, village walks and mountain views are often best enjoyed at a slower pace. Higher routes require more planning than lower hill-town visits, and weather can change driving times substantially.
