How to experience it
Allow time to understand the setting, not just take a photograph. A local guide can add context, help select the most relevant stops and adapt the experience to your interests and walking comfort.

Discover the story, setting and experiences behind the destination.
Charminar was commissioned by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in the late sixteenth century as part of Hyderabad’s foundation. Its four minarets and intersecting arches made it a defining landmark of the new city. Today its significance extends into the surrounding bazaar streets and working religious setting.
Hyderabad’s bazaars, Irani cafés and biryani kitchens make food and everyday culture part of the journey. Beyond the capital, Warangal, Ramappa and reservoir landscapes broaden the experience. Ramoji Film City offers a separate cinema-themed day rather than a historical monument visit.
